On Saturday, June 1st we visited Trinity College at Dublin. It was founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I. While we were there we walked around with a tour guide and he showed us all of the original buildings and we also got to walk through the famous library. The library holds the Book of Kells and the oldest harp in Ireland.

Walking through this absolute spectacle of sight, I wish I had the power and patience to read through all of these books of past and current knowledge. The harp was also a beauty to the eyes as it holds the truest form of Ireland's history of the harp.
ReplyDeleteBeing able to explore and be to witness the ancient artifacts on display here was quite the experience. Literally looking over at the Book of Kells was quite the scene and the amount of individuals that are drawn here to witness the history in such a manor had me blown away. Also the Brian Boru Harp was a sight as well sense it is indeed the oldest known harp in Ireland and is also the insignia of the country.
